Friday night Dave traveled to I-94 Sure Step Speedway Fergus Falls for the opening night of the NLRA! 31 late models showed up, in a loaded heat Dave started 2nd and would win his heat. For the feature, Dave drew the pole position, with 30 lates behind him and a few cautions Dave held his spot and parked it in Victory Lane!
Saturday night brought Dave over to VIKING SPEEDWAY with the super for the Jerry Kluver Memorial Super Stock Special. In his heat, he started 3rd and would finish 1st. For the feature, Dave started 7th and drove away and never looked back! Win #2 for the weekend. Dave also won the Dash For Cash, after a last lap disqualification of first place racer.
Sunday they were back at Granite City Motor Park, with both cars. Dave started 7th, in his super heat and would finish 2nd. For the feature, Dave started 4th, and after going out for a Sunday drive he would finish there.
In the late model, Dave started 4th in his heat and would win it. For the feature, he started 7th, and would wheel it up to 2nd place!
It was a great weekend of racing, this coming weekend is the start of the Structural Buildings WISSOTA LATE MODEL CHALLENGE SERIES! Which will bring Dave to Princeton Friday Night and Rice Lake on Saturday Night and Granite City Motor Park on Monday. Sunday is still up in the air!
