We started the weekend off at I-94 Sure Step Speedway Fergus Falls. Dave entered the weekend 16 points behind the current first place racer for the Late Model Champion. He would start 8th in the heat and finish 4th, for the feature Dave pulled on to the track in 3rd place, after a few cautions he would take home the win and the win of the championship! In the super, Dave started 2nd in the heat and would come in first. For the feature, Dave started 6th and would once again park it in victory lane!!!!
Saturday and Sunday brought us to Viking Speedway in Alexandria with the super only.
Saturday, Dave started 3rd in the heat and would win it, for the feature he started 4th and would come in 2nd!
For Sunday, Dave started 7th in his heat and would come in first. For the feature, Dave Started on the pole, after some contact with another driver both Dave and the other driver were sent to the back. Dave would still drive it hard and have a very respectable 8th place finish given the circumstances.
We will see everyone at River Cities Speedway for the Seitz Memorial and the following weekend for the King Of Dirt in Fergus Falls.
