Duluth, MN (February 7, 2022)– After a two-weekend hiatus from racing, the Amsoil Championship Snocross tour made its way back to Fargo, ND. The course was massive and included some unique features and layout that they have not seen previously this season, making for some incredible racing and a rider favorite.
On Friday, both Klim/Jack Links Polaris riders posted consistent runs in their qualifying rounds. Harr grabbed a third and second in his races and Alread notched a second and third in his, both battling it out for position for a majority of their qualifiers.
Alread got a decent jump in the Pro Lite final and a first turn pile up ejected him from his sled, causing a red flag and restart of the race. Due to the crash, Alread was not able to finish the final, causing him to place outside of the top ten. Unfortunately, because of this incident Alread was sidelined and not able to race on Saturday because of minor injuries sustained. In the Pro final, Harr got off to an exceptional start and advanced his way up to fourth place before coming off his sled in a race incident. He was able to get back on his sled before a second off resulted in a 13th place finish.
With no event this upcoming weekend, riders and crew will rest, recover, and prepare for the next stop of the tour for Rounds 7 and 8 in Salamanca, NY on February 18thand 19th. On Saturday, Harr bounced back and went 2-2 in his qualifiers, positioning himself for a key starting spot in the final. In the final, their Swede worked his way through the crowd and placed himself right outside of a podium position. He battled back and forth with the final podium contender for a majority of the race, making it the battle to watch in Saturday night’s final. Harr was so close to capturing the final podium position, but all said and done finished with an impressive 4th place run. He now sits 3rd in points leaving Rounds 5 and 6.
