Blaine Brothers Family of Companies has announced the opening of a new parts distribution center in St. Paul, Minnesota. The more than 25,000-square-foot facility is centrally located between the company’s nine facilities, directly between Minneapolis and St. Paul, off Interstate 94 and Highway 280.
The facility will serve as an additional care location and will have daily deliveries to all facilities.
“The new PDC will help us improve the game in terms of having the parts our customers need. We can optimize inventory across our network of locations, so parts are where they are needed, increasing our speed to get them into the hands of our customers and keep trucks on the road,” said Tim Grabow, vice president of Blaine Brothers.
The current environment has created many challenges with the acquisition of parts, according to Blaine Brothers. The company added that the opening of the new PDC will allow Blaine Brothers to have the right inventory and necessary parts that customers are looking for on a daily basis.
“This will allow us to bring the depth of key parts inventory so that regardless of what happens in the supply chain, we can ensure that we have parts available to our customers,” added CEO Dean Dally.
Director of Parts Phil Howard said: “The new PDC is a demonstration of our commitment to doing everything we can to provide exceptional service to our customers.”
