Duluth, MN (February 21, 2022)– The Amsoil Championship Snocross tour made its way back East to Salamanca New York after a two-year hiatus due to Covid restrictions. The long-anticipated return to the East did not disappoint as the New York race fans were in full force and the track featured a never seen before design. They have officially reached the halfway point of the season with eight rounds under their belts and eight more to go. On Saturday, Harr started the nights final outside of the top ten, deep in the field. He fought hard and worked his way through the pack, strategically passing his way up to a sixth-place finish. Leading this weekend’s efforts was Emil Harr. He continues to prove his come from behind efforts are second to none, and his ability to make his way through a deep Pro field is quite impressive. On Friday, he posted 8-2 results in his qualifying rounds and had his work cut out for him leading into the final. With a top ten start, Harr maneuvered his way up to seventh where he battled for position a majority of the race and just fell short of another top five finish.
Saturday presented a similar story when Alread got a third-place finish in his first qualifier and came off in his second qualifier. His off resulted in a dislocated shoulder and would keep him out of the final that night. They are impressed with Alread’s resilience and determination to keep fighting each and every time he is out on the track, despite his unfortunate luck and injury riddled season thus far. Alread started Friday off with an impressive heat race finish where he worked his way from fifth to second. In his next qualifier, Alread was kicked from his sled, derailing his previous qualifying efforts and resulting in a back row start for the final. Unfortunately, in the final, he was tangled up with another rider and unable to complete the race.
RD 7 |The series will be off this weekend before returning to racing for some March madness with eight rounds in a row, the next being Deadwood South Dakota on March 4thand 5th. The Judnick Motorsports crew is looking forward to finishing the second half of the season strong and getting back to their winning ways. As always, thank you for your continued support.
